The following instructions only apply if you have qualified as a finalist to enter the print competition.
Step 1 :
Log into your account at app.iconawards.com
Step 2:
You'll see a note in the top left corner of your dashboard that says "You are qualified for the print competition!" Click on the "ENTER NOW" button.
Step 3:
You'll be taken to a new page where you'll see a list of your images that are finalists. Make any changes such as uploading a new jpg or changing the title (details below) and then select all of the images you'd like to enter. Don't forget to download the label that goes on the back of each print. (If you are entering an In-Camera Artistry category, you do not need a label.)
Step 4:
Select your shipping option from the list on the right (details below) and press the "SAVE" button.
Step 5:
Enter your payment details and press the "PURCHASE" button.
Step 6:
After you have paid for your entry, return to your dashboard and press the "ENTER NOW" button again. You will now see a download link next to each label. Download/print a label for each of your entries and attach it to the back of each print and ship it to us. Our shipping address is on the label.
Can I make changes to my entry?
Yes. Especially after receiving feedback many of you may want to make change to your entry. You can make those changes before entering. JUST MAKE SURE THE CHANGES YOU MAKE DO NOT BREAK THE RULES FOR YOUR CATEGORY. We will still be vetting each entry that comes in. To upload a new jpg, just follow the steps above and when you get to Step #3, click on your entry and you'll have the option to replace the jpg.
Can I add a title to my entry?
Yes. Most entrants choose not to title their entries and they are not required for the competition. But if you choose to add one, it will be read out to the judges during the live judging. To add a title, follow the steps above and when you get to Step #3, click on your entry and you'll have the option to add a title.
What do the different shipping options mean?
You will see 3 options when it comes to return shipping:
1. "I do not want to have my print returned to me." This means you ship your print(s) to us in any box that protects it and that you understand the box and your print(s) will be destroyed after the convention.
2. "I have an Icon approved box." This means you want your print(s) returned to you after the convention and that you will be sending them to us in either a hard print case or in a Uline Art shipper box. We will use your print case or Uline box to return it back to you after the convention.
3. "I need an Icon approved box." This means you want your print(s) returned to you after the convention but you do not already have a print case or Uline box. We will add $60 to your final total and we will send your prints back to you after the convention in a brand new Uline Art Shipper box that you can then reuse for the next few years.
